What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a method of treatment practiced for more than 2000 years in China. Unlike western medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) considers diseases as a result of imbalance of the human body. This imbalance refers to abnormalities in Qi (energy) and blood circulation. Acupuncture is one of TCM's methods of treating Qi (energy) and blood stagnation involved in the Meridian by stimulating acupuncture points. This is done by inserting sterile disposable needles into the specific point to control and alter Qi and circulation.
